The Wine
Afflicted with Noble Rot, the botrytis captures the ripeness of the grape in its adolescence creating a stellar snapshot of its development with hints at potentials never to be extended. The dessert wine form Adelaide Hills pays homage to a world and time of simplicity, nostalgia and reverie.
Inspired by the ‘Great Grandfather’ of the Australian wine industry, Maurice O’Shea, who laboured away in a humble tin shed in the Hunter Valley in the 1920’s and 1930’s to create Australia’s finest wines of the age.
